What is a double drum road roller?
The double-steel-wheel roller has two rollers at the front and rear.Some models support synchronous vibration of the two rollers,which results in better compaction efficiency and uniformity.It is the core equipment for compacting asphalt pavement. The vibration mode is flexible and can be switched according to the types of materials such as soil, sand and gravel,and is suitable for each stage of initial compaction,re-compaction and final compaction.

What is the function of a road roller?
The core function of a road roller is to compact road-building materials such as soil, sand, gravel and asphalt mixture through its own weight or vibratory impact force. This improves the compactness, flatness and stability of the compacted materials, reduces their porosity, enhances load-bearing and anti-deformation capacity, and ensures the construction quality and service life of roads, foundations, dykes and other engineering projects.

The SVH70/SVH70C compact road roller equipment is equipped with multi-brand compatible power systems, along with a reliable drive control system. This enables it to easily handle various complex working conditions.


 
1.Power system
The SVH70 can be equipped with the Honda GX390 gasoline engine, with a fuel capacity of 6.5L, and the output power can reach 9.7kw, with a rotational speed of 3600rpm. It has strong power and is suitable for high-intensity compaction operations.
The SVH70C can be equipped with three types of engines, all of which adopt a four-stroke design:
Loncin 390FD engine: fuel capacity 6.5L, output power 9.7kw, rotational speed 2400rpm
Changfa180F engine: fuel capacity 3.5L, output power 4.8kw, rotational speed 3600rpm, suitable for work conditions with moderate power requirements
Changchai178F air-cooled engine: fuel capacity 2.7L, output power 4.4kw, rotational speed 3600rpm, stable operation and economical fuel consumption. 
The equipment is equipped with a 12V electrical system, ensuring smooth startup and stable power supply. The hydraulic oil capacity is 12L and the water tank capacity is 18L. The endurance is sufficient and it can support long-term continuous operation.

2.Drive & Control System
Drive system: Utilizes a bidirectional hydraulic chain drive, ensuring efficient and smooth power transmission.Combined with a 0-6 km/h continuous speed control design,it enables precise adjustment of driving speed according to operational requirements,suitable for different compaction rhythms.
Steering system: Adopting rear-wheel mechanical steering, it is operationally lightweight and flexible. The outer turning radius is only 2300mm,significantly enhancing operational mobility.
Vibration system: Equipped with a front-mounted vibrating drum, it uses a mechanical transmission method.The vibration frequency reaches 70 Hz, the vibration amplitude is 0.5 mm,and the excitation force can reach 30 kN, achieving excellent compaction depth and effect.
Spraying water system: Equipped with a gravity spray system,it can effectively reduce the adhesion between the drum and the material, improving the compaction flatness. 



The braking system is equipped with a variable displacement piston pump, which ensures rapid braking response and reliable braking effect, effectively guaranteeing operational safety.



3.Size
Weight: The total operating weight of the machine is 620 kg, and the static line load is 55 N/cm. The weight is moderate, ensuring the compaction effect while avoiding excessive damage to the ground.
Machine size: The overall size of the machine is compact. The working width is 875 mm, the overall length is 1550 mm, the overall height is 1210 mm, and the wheel spacing is 1110 mm. It can easily enter narrow areas for operation.
Roller size: The width of the front roller is 700 mm and the diameter is 530 mm, while the width of the rear roller is 500 mm and the diameter is 425 mm. The roller size is suitable for small-scale engineering needs.
Steep slope capability: The theoretical climbing ability of the equipment is up to 30%, capable of handling gentle slope operation scenarios and maintaining a stable operation state even in complex terrains.

·  During the operation of the equipment, do not perform cleaning or maintenance work. Rotating parts may cause personal injury.
·  It is strictly prohibited to clean parts with gasoline, other fuels or flammable solvents, especially in enclosed areas; the fumes volatilized from fuels and solvents are prone to accumulation, which may cause explosions.
·  Regularly check the external buttons of the equipment to ensure their normal functions.
·  Provide professional operation and safety training to equipment operators on a regular basis.
·  Do not operate the equipment in areas with flammable substances, fuel or flammable vapors.
·  After the equipment is out of service, turn off the engine immediately, store it in a clean, dry area out of the reach of children, and ensure standardized storage.
·  Do not remove the air filter cover, paper filter element and pre-cleaner while the engine is running.
·  Before hoisting, jacking up the equipment or performing maintenance work, be sure to fasten the articulated steering connection in place with a locking rod.
