The front steel wheel rear pneumatic tire roller adopts a differentiated design of "front steel rolling wheel + rear pneumatic tire assembly", taking into account both the vibration compaction penetration force and the tire's kneading compactness, achieving the dual functions of "efficient compaction + fine adjustment". The steel wheel is responsible for deep compaction of the roadbed soil, sand and gravel cushion layer, while the tire is responsible for compacting the asphalt pavement and stable soil base layer. It is suitable for continuous construction of "foundation - surface layer" and multi-stage operations.

What is the function of a road roller?

The ST3500C adopts a classic structure of front steel wheels and rear tires, balancing both the compaction strength and driving stability: The front wheels are thickened steel drums, with a static linear load of 130n/cm providing strong compaction penetration power; the rear wheels are in the form of tires, with staggered wheel spacing and a central support design, having a large ground contact area, stable driving without slipping, and suitable for compaction of various materials.



1.Power system
The equipment is equipped with a high-quality diesel power core. All of them adopt a diesel inline water-cooled four-stroke design, featuring powerful performance, low fuel consumption, and high stability. They can be flexibly selected according to the construction intensity: 
Changchai ZN390B: 3-cylinder configuration, with an output power of up to 28.1 hp and a rated speed of 2600 rpm.
Yanmar 3TNV88: 3-cylinder configuration, with an output power of up to 28.5 hp and a rated speed of 3000 rpm.
Kubota V1505 Engine: 4-cylinder configuration, with an output power of 26.1 hp and a rated speed of 3000 rpm. 
The entire power system has excellent heat dissipation efficiency and can withstand long-term and high-intensity operations. When paired with 12V electrical equipment, it starts smoothly and operates safely and reliably. The hydraulic oil capacity is 50L and the fuel capacity is 38L. The range is sufficient, reducing the time spent on frequent refueling.

2.Drive & Control System
The drive system adopts a variable piston pump for stepless speed control, combined with three Poclain drive motors. The power transmission is efficient and smooth, enabling stepless speed adjustment from 0 to 10 kilometers per hour, meeting the needs of different compaction rhythms.
The steering system uses hydraulic cylinder articulated steering and swing articulated structure, which is easy to operate and flexible. The minimum turning radius is as low as 2600 - 3980 millimeters. It can easily turn around even in narrow construction sites, improving work efficiency.
The braking system relies on the variable piston pump for precise braking, with rapid response, ensuring work safety.
The vibration system uses a hydraulic motor to drive the front vibration drum. The vibration frequency is 60 hertz, the amplitude is 0.5 millimeters, and the excitation force can reach 50 kilonewtons. Combined with a 16-millimeter-thick steel drum and a 720-millimeter drum diameter, the compaction effect is uniform and the depth is sufficient, effectively improving pavement density.



The equipment is equipped with an intermittent pressure spraying system. The water tank capacity is 180L, which can effectively prevent material from adhering to the drum and ensure the compaction quality.



3.Size
Working dimensions: Working width 1370 millimeters, drum width 1200 millimeters, capable of achieving large-scale and efficient compaction. 
Equipment dimensions: The overall length of the equipment is 2545 - 2650 millimeters, the overall height is 1855 - 2565 millimeters, the wheelbase is 1795 millimeters. The structure is compact, facilitating transportation and site conversion. 
Wheel size: The wheels are equipped with 4 tires of 9.5/65-15 specification. The total width of the tires is 1140 millimeters, with staggered wheel spacing of 50 millimeters. They are paired with two support methods: mid-support and bilateral support. The ground stability is strong, and they can adapt to different road conditions. 
Weight: The operating weight of the equipment is 2820 kilograms. The static line load is 130 Newtons per centimeter. The ground pressure is reasonable, which can ensure the compaction effect without causing excessive damage to the base layer. 
Steel drum：The steel drum has a thickness of 16 millimeters, which is wear-resistant and durable, extending the service life of the equipment.

·  Regularly check the external buttons of the equipment to ensure their normal functions.
