What is a double drum road roller?
The double-steel-wheel roller has two rollers at the front and rear. Some models support synchronous vibration of the two rollers, which results in better compaction efficiency and uniformity. It is the core equipment for compacting asphalt pavement. The vibration mode is flexible and can be switched according to the types of materials such as soil, sand and gravel, and is suitable for each stage of initial compaction, re-compaction and final compaction.

What is the function of a road roller?
The core function of a road roller is to compact road-building materials such as soil, sand, gravel and asphalt mixture through its own weight or vibratory impact force. This improves the compactness, flatness and stability of the compacted materials, reduces their porosity, enhances load-bearing and anti-deformation capacity, and ensures the construction quality and service life of roads, foundations, dykes and other engineering projects.

The ST1300 small road roller is an efficient equipment specially designed for the compaction work in small and medium-sized projects. It has become an ideal choice in fields such as municipal construction, highways, and architecture.



1.Power system
This equipment is equipped with a KUBOTA Z482 dual-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, which can effectively prevent overheating during long-term operation and is suitable for continuous construction requirements. The engine has a rated power of 9.8kW at 3600rpm, providing stable power for movement and compaction.
It uses a front-mounted vibrating drum, driven by a hydraulic motor. The vibration frequency is 65Hz, the amplitude is 0.5mm, and the excitation force is 30KN. It can uniformly compact soil,sand,asphalt and other materials, meeting various engineering standards.
It is equipped with a 12V electrical system, which is reliable for starting; it also comes with an intermittent pressure spray system, which can suppress dust and protect the drum, improving the compaction effect.

2.Drive & Control System
The ST1300 road roller adopts a variable piston pump for stepless speed control with two-wheel drive, enabling smooth speed adjustment from 0 to 10 km/h, suitable for various working rhythms. Its hydraulic steering system, combined with the swing articulation design, is easy to operate and requires less effort. The steering is precise, and the outer turning radius is only 3165mm, allowing for flexible operation even in narrow areas or cornered regions.



The working brake system is also based on the variable piston pump design, with rapid and reliable braking response, effectively reducing safety hazards caused by operational inertia.



3.Size
The ST1300 road roller adopts a compact structure design. Its operating weight is 1280kg, and the static linear load reaches 70N/cm. It has sufficient compressive strength and can effectively complete the compaction of deep materials.
The working width of the equipment is 920mm, the roller width is 800mm, and the diameter is 560mm. The single-time compaction coverage area is large, which helps to improve the operation efficiency. The overall length is between 2030/1990mm, and the height can be adapted to 1460/2130mm. The structure is compact, facilitating transportation and enabling operation in narrow or low spaces.
The hydraulic oil capacity of this equipment is 18L, the fuel capacity is 15L, and the water tank capacity is 70L. It supports long-term continuous operation. The theoretical climbing ability is 30%-35%, which can adapt to complex terrains with slopes.

·  During the operation of the equipment, do not perform cleaning or maintenance work. Rotating parts may cause personal injury.
·  It is strictly prohibited to clean parts with gasoline, other fuels or flammable solvents, especially in enclosed areas; the fumes volatilized from fuels and solvents are prone to accumulation, which may cause explosions.
·  Regularly check the external buttons of the equipment to ensure their normal functions.
·  Provide professional operation and safety training to equipment operators on a regular basis.
·  Do not operate the equipment in areas with flammable substances, fuel or flammable vapors.
·  After the equipment is out of service, turn off the engine immediately, store it in a clean, dry area out of the reach of children, and ensure standardized storage.
·  Do not remove the air filter cover, paper filter element and pre-cleaner while the engine is running.
