What is a small excavator?

1.Power system
PC12.3 is equipped with the KAMA 195FD engine, which strictly complies with the EURO 5 emission standard and offers excellent environmental performance—it can adapt to various construction scenarios with stringent emission requirements.
The engine delivers a rated power of up to 8.3kW and a rated speed of 3000rpm, providing strong, stable power output that easily handles basic operations like soil excavation and material removal.
Its efficient power transmission system, paired with optimized hydraulic matching, not only ensures operational efficiency but also effectively reduces fuel consumption and noise—achieving a dual balance between energy conservation, environmental protection, and work performance.

2.Drive & Control System
It adopts a reliable hydraulic drive system to precisely control the movements of the boom, arm, and bucket—with sensitive operation response, digging, lifting, and slewing actions are smooth and coherent, meeting the needs of fine work.
The track features a 180×72×37 specification design with low ground pressure—it not only ensures travel stability but also minimizes ground compaction damage, enabling operation on fragile surfaces like lawns and sidewalks.



The flexible steering and travel system, paired with a compact slewing structure, allows the equipment to adjust its posture agilely even in confined spaces, significantly boosting operational mobility.



3.Size
The overall dimensions (L×W×H) of the machine are 2850×1050×2200mm, with a cab height of only 2300mm. Its minimum length can be retracted to 2400mm, allowing easy access to narrow spaces such as indoor areas, alleys, and greenhouses
A minimum ground clearance of 90mm ensures passability on slightly uneven terrain while preventing chassis collisions.
With a maximum digging height of 2600mm, maximum dumping height of 1750mm, maximum digging depth of 1750mm, and maximum digging radius of 3100mm, paired with a 0.025m³ bucket capacity, it boasts a distinct operational range advantage among mini equipment—efficiently handling small-scale excavation and material removal tasks.

·  Municipal and Landscape engineering
1.1. Before commencing work, confirm the location of underground pipelines. This can be done through pipeline detectors to prevent important pipelines such as gas and electricity from being dug up and broken.
1.2. When working on sidewalks, protective plates should be laid to prevent the tracks from crushing and damaging the pavement tiles or asphalt layer.
·  Rural and agricultural operations
2.1. Field operations should avoid areas where crops grow, control the depth of excavation, and prevent damage to the structure of the soil tillage layer.
2.2. When operating in the orchard, pay attention to protecting the root system of fruit trees. Keep a safe distance from the tree trunks when digging fertilizer trenches and other facilities to prevent damage to the tree roots.
·  Architectural decoration and interior engineering
3.1. Before indoor work, clear obstacles from the site, check the load-bearing capacity of the floor slabs, and if necessary, build support structures.
3.2. During demolition operations, control the crushing force to avoid excessive vibration affecting the main structure of the building, and at the same time, take good dust protection measures.
·  Emergency rescue scenarios
4.1. When clearing landslides, first observe the stability of the slope, and carry out operations in layers from top to bottom to prevent secondary landslides from causing danger.
