What is a double pneumatic roller？
The pneumatic roller has multiple sets of inflated tires on both the front and rear wheels.Relying on the flexibility and elastic deformation of the tires,it forms a composite pressure strength based on its own weight. Besides the vertical pressure,it also generates horizontal and vertical horizontal forces to create a unique "rubbing effect",allowing the material particles to be tightly interlocked without being damaged.It is suitable for various working conditions such as soil,stabilized soil,and asphalt surface layers.

What is the function of a road roller?
The core function of a road roller is to compact road-building materials such as soil,sand,gravel and asphalt mixture through its own weight or vibratory impact force.This improves the compactness,flatness and stability of the compacted materials, reduces their porosity,enhances load-bearing and anti-deformation capacity,and ensures the construction quality and service life of roads,foundations,dykes and other engineering projects.

This roller is equipped with pneumatic tires, with three front wheels and three rear wheels. By adjusting the inflation pressure, the ground contact pressure can be changed. During the compaction process, there is a rubbing effect, which ensures that the particles in the compacted layer are not damaged but interlock evenly and densely. It can effectively seal the pores on the asphalt surface, improve water resistance and durability, and is suitable for the final compaction stage of the asphalt layer

The ST4000DQ pneumatic roller, as the core equipment for road and site construction, utilizes the flexibility and elastic deformation of the tires to form a composite compressive force. Through a unique "rubbing effect", it enables the material particles to be tightly interlocked without any damage, and is suitable for various working conditions.



1.Power system
Model 1: Equipped with Changche ZN490B engine, with an output power of 36kw and a rotational speed of 2400rpm; the lubricating oil capacity is 6.5L.
Model 2: Equipped with Yambu 4TNV88 engine, with an output power of 34.5kw and a rotational speed of 3000rpm; the lubricating oil capacity is 7.4L.
Model 3: Equipped with Kubota V2403 engine, with an output power of 33.6kw and a rotational speed of 2400rpm; the lubricating oil capacity is 9.5L.
These three well-known brand four-cylinder diesel engines, water-cooled four-stroke models, have stable power output and excellent fuel economy, suitable for different operation intensity requirements.
The fuel consumption of all three machines is controlled within 255-261g/kwh. With a 44.5L fuel tank, they can meet the needs for long-term continuous operation. At the same time, a 12V electrical system is equipped to ensure the stable startup and operation of the equipment.

2.Drive & Control System
The variable plunger pump stepless speed control drive mode is adopted, allowing the speed to be smoothly adjusted within the range of 0 - 12 km/h. The start-stop and speed control operations are convenient, and it is suitable for different working rhythms.

The steering system adopts a swing hinge design, combined with a hydraulic cylinder hinged steering method. The steering angle can reach 30°, the swing angle is 8°, and with a 4300mm turning radius and a 35% theoretical climbing ability, it can cope with slightly complex terrains.



It is also equipped with intermittent water spraying in the pressure chamber, which helps ensure the smooth progress of the compaction operation. The hydraulic system is configured with a 60L hydraulic oil tank to guarantee stable power transmission, and the overall operation is precise and effortless.



3.Size
Weight: The operating weight of the equipment is 4000kg. The static line load is 220n/cm, and the working width is 1455mm. It can efficiently cover the working area. 
Size: The overall size of the machine is designed to balance practicality and flexibility. The length is 3000/2905mm, the height is 2025/2680mm, the edge height is 920mm, and the ground clearance is 445mm. It can meet the requirements for passing on different terrains. 
Tire size: The width of the tracks is 1975mm. The front wheels are equipped with 3 tires of specification 10.5/80-16, with a total width of 1200mm;the rear wheels are equipped with 4 tires of the same specification, with a total width of 1340mm. They adopt a mid-support method, ensuring uniform ground force distribution and further enhancing operational stability.

·  During the operation of the equipment, do not perform cleaning or maintenance work. Rotating parts may cause personal injury.
·  It is strictly prohibited to clean parts with gasoline, other fuels or flammable solvents, especially in enclosed areas; the fumes volatilized from fuels and solvents are prone to accumulation, which may cause explosions.
·  Regularly check the external buttons of the equipment to ensure their normal functions.
·  Provide professional operation and safety training to equipment operators on a regular basis.
·  Do not operate the equipment in areas with flammable substances, fuel or flammable vapors.
·  After the equipment is out of service, turn off the engine immediately, store it in a clean, dry area out of the reach of children, and ensure standardized storage.
·  Do not remove the air filter cover, paper filter element and pre-cleaner while the engine is running.
·  Before hoisting, jacking up the equipment or performing maintenance work, be sure to fasten the articulated steering connection in place with a locking rod.
