What is the function of a plate compactor?
It is used to compact loose base layers such as soil, sand, gravel, and asphalt. Through the combination of the plate's high-frequency vibration and static pressure, the particles of the material being compacted are made to closely adhere to each other, reducing the porosity and increasing the density. This enhances the bearing capacity and stability of the base layer, preventing problems such as settlement, deformation, and cracking during subsequent construction or use.

The STP60 plate compactor, with its stable performance and efficient compaction capability, has become an ideal equipment for construction projects, road maintenance and other scenarios.



1.Power system
The STP60 plate compactor is equipped with the renowned brand HONDA GX160/LONCIN GF200 engine. Both adopt a single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke design, providing powerful and stable power output.
The engine's rated power can reach 5.5 horsepower, enabling it to easily handle various complex working conditions. Even during long and intense operations, it can maintain an excellent operating state, effectively avoiding the problem of low compaction efficiency caused by insufficient power.
The single-cylinder structure combined with air cooling not only simplifies the body layout but also enhances the equipment's heat dissipation performance, prolongs the engine's service life, and reduces the subsequent maintenance costs.

2.Drive & Control System
The excitation frequency of the equipment is 93 Hz, and the exciting force can reach up to 10.5 KN. The powerful excitation force can quickly meet the density requirements of soil, sand, and other materials, with a compaction depth of up to 20 cm, far exceeding the compaction effect of ordinary plate compactors.



The walking speed is set at 34 meters per minute. Combined with the extremely high working efficiency of 423 square meters per hour, it can significantly shorten the construction period and is suitable for large-scale compaction operations. The stable drive system is equipped to effectively reduce vibrations and noise during the operation, thereby enhancing the operational comfort of the operators.



3.Size
The operating weight of the equipment is 66KG. The size of the flat plate is 50*35cm. The wide compaction surface can increase the single compaction area and reduce repetitive operations. The overall working size of the equipment is 108*35*85cm. The body is compact and can easily pass through narrow areas such as building gaps and road edges, without occupying too much construction space. It meets the space requirements of various complex operation scenarios.

Road Engineering: Can be used for compaction of the base and surface layers of sidewalks, rural roads, and parking lots, ensuring the smoothness and density of the road surface and effectively preventing post-construction pavement settlement;
Construction: Applicable for compaction operations of house foundations and wall bases, enhancing the bearing capacity of the foundation and ensuring the stability of the building structure;
