What is a double drum road roller?
The double-steel-wheel roller has two rollers at the front and rear. Some models support synchronous vibration of the two rollers, which results in better compaction efficiency and uniformity. It is the core equipment for compacting asphalt pavement. The vibration mode is flexible and can be switched according to the types of materials such as soil, sand and gravel, and is suitable for each stage of initial compaction, re-compaction and final compaction.

• The excitation system is flexible and controllable: it adopts static pressure drive + independent drum vibration control, supporting dual amplitude and dual frequency adjustment, and is suitable for different operational requirements.

  The hydraulic system is of high-end configuration: it uses pumps and motors of the Danfoss brand, supporting stepless speed regulation (0-15 km/h), and has smooth power transmission.

  The watering system is practical and efficient: it is equipped with adjustable nozzles controlled by the operator's position switch, and the total water tank capacity is 800 liters (2×400 liters).

  The cab is safe and comfortable: it has a canopy-style cab with rollover protection structure (ROPS), equipped with an LCD safety monitoring screen (displaying water temperature, oil temperature, etc.), adjustable seats + seat belts, and also features a radiation-proof roof, rearview mirrors, etc., balancing safety and operational convenience.

1.Power system
Equipped with a Cummins 4BTA 3.9-C110 diesel engine, it outputs 82 KW of power, with stable and powerful performance, suitable for various working scenarios.
It is equipped with a 100-liter fuel tank, a 65-liter hydraulic oil tank, and two 400-liter water tanks (totaling 800 liters), and is equipped with a pressure water spraying device, capable of meeting the needs of long-term construction.

2.Drive & Control System
It is driven by hydraulic power and features swing and telescopic steering capabilities, ensuring flexible operation.
The steering angle can reach ±30°, the turning radius is 5650 millimeters, and the driving speed range is 0 to 15 kilometers per hour.
Its power supply voltage is 24 volts, the slope carrying capacity is 40%, and it can adapt to steep road conditions, making it highly practical.



3.Size
Weight: The total vehicle weight is 8000 kilograms, with each axle carrying 4000 kilograms. It can effectively compact the ground and has excellent performance.
Vibration disc diameter is 1150 millimeters, width is 1730 millimeters; wheelbase is 3217 millimeters. The dual rollers cooperate for compaction, effectively improving the compaction efficiency.

·  During the operation of the equipment, do not perform cleaning or maintenance work. Rotating parts may cause personal injury.
·  It is strictly prohibited to clean parts with gasoline, other fuels or flammable solvents, especially in enclosed areas; the fumes volatilized from fuels and solvents are prone to accumulation, which may cause explosions.
·  Regularly check the external buttons of the equipment to ensure their normal functions.
·  Provide professional operation and safety training to equipment operators on a regular basis.
·  Do not operate the equipment in areas with flammable substances, fuel or flammable vapors.
·  After the equipment is out of service, turn off the engine immediately, store it in a clean, dry area out of the reach of children, and ensure standardized storage.
·  Do not remove the air filter cover, paper filter element and pre-cleaner while the engine is running.
·  Before hoisting, jacking up the equipment or performing maintenance work, be sure to fasten the articulated steering connection in place with a locking rod.
