The front steel wheel rear pneumatic tire roller adopts a differentiated design of "front steel rolling wheel + rear pneumatic tire assembly", taking into account both the vibration compaction penetration force and the tire's kneading compactness, achieving the dual functions of "efficient compaction + fine adjustment". The steel wheel is responsible for deep compaction of the roadbed soil, sand and gravel cushion layer, while the tire is responsible for compacting the asphalt pavement and stable soil base layer. It is suitable for continuous construction of "foundation - surface layer" and multi-stage operations.

What is the function of a road roller?
The core function of a road roller is to compact road-building materials such as soil, sand, gravel and asphalt mixture through its own weight or vibratory impact force. The ST4500C adopts a classic structure of front steel wheels and rear rubber wheels, balancing both the compaction strength and driving stability: The front wheels are thickened steel drums, with a static linear load of 140n/cm providing strong compaction penetration power; the rear wheels are in the form of tires, with staggered wheel spacing and a central support design, having a large ground contact area, stable driving without slipping, and suitable for compaction of various materials.



1.Power system
This equipment is equipped with three well-known brand diesel engines, all of which are of the four-stroke inline water-cooled diesel type. They are powerful and energy-efficient, and can be flexibly adapted to different construction loads.
Changchai ZN490B engine: Output power 36kw, rotational speed 2400rpm
Yanmar 4TNV88 engine: Output power 34.5kw, rotational speed 3000rpm
Kubota V2403 engine: Output power 33.6kw, rotational speed 2400rpm
The equipment is equipped with a 12V electrical system, which is reliable in operation. 
The hydraulic motor drive method is combined with a 60L large-capacity hydraulic oil storage tank, ensuring efficient and smooth power transmission. 
The 44.5L fuel tank and 180L water tank capacity effectively extend the continuous operation time and reduce the frequency of mid-way replenishment.

2.Drive & Control System
The driving system is powered by a hydraulic motor, and it is equipped with a continuously variable speed design. The walking speed can be freely adjusted within the range of 0 - 12 km/h, suitable for different construction paces. 
The steering system adopts a hydraulic cylinder hinged steering and swing hinged structure. It offers smooth and precise steering, with a turning radius of only 4380mm. Even when operating in a narrow space, it can be easily controlled. 
The braking system is equipped with a variable piston pump, ensuring stable and reliable braking performance and safeguarding construction safety. 
The vibration system adopts a front vibration design. The hydraulic motor drives the vibration drum. The vibration frequency reaches 50Hz, the amplitude is 0.5mm, and the excitation force can reach 68kN. Combined with a 17mm thick steel drum and a 900mm drum diameter, the compaction effect is outstanding. 



The equipment is equipped with an intermittent pressure spray system, which effectively prevents the materials from sticking to the rollers and improves the compaction quality.

·  During the operation of the equipment, do not perform cleaning or maintenance work. Rotating parts may cause personal injury.
