What is the function of a plate compactor?
It is used to compact loose base layers such as soil, sand, gravel, and asphalt. Through the combination of the plate's high-frequency vibration and static pressure, the particles of the material being compacted are made to closely adhere to each other, reducing the porosity and increasing the density. This enhances the bearing capacity and stability of the base layer, preventing problems such as settlement, deformation, and cracking during subsequent construction or use.

1.Power system
This plate compactor is equipped with a HONDA GX270 engine, featuring a single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke design. Its rated power reaches 9 horsepower, providing continuous and sufficient power support for the compaction operation. It can easily meet the compaction needs of various soil, sand, and stone materials. The air-cooling design effectively optimizes the heat dissipation efficiency, reduces the probability of faults during long-term operation, and extends the service life of the equipment.

2.Drive & Control System



The traveling speed of the STP270 plate tamper is 35 centimeters per second. The design of uniform traveling ensures that the compaction operation is uniform and without omissions, avoiding situations where some areas are not properly compacted. The efficient drive system, combined with strong power, enables the equipment to achieve a working efficiency of 650 square meters per hour, significantly shortening the construction period and improving the overall progress of the project.



3.Size
The tablet size is 89*67cm.The wide plate can increase the single operation area, enhance efficiency while ensuring the flatness of compaction; the overall working size of the equipment is 178*67*90cm.The structure is compact and it can flexibly move through narrow areas without the need for large-scale disassembly to carry out the operation.
